Abel Mavura Equity Scholarship

Empowering young people to access higher education.

Supporting students from marginalised communities to reach higher education and cultivate a lasting social impact.

Our Vision

Equity, empowerment, and excellence

The Abel Mavura Equity Scholarship (AMES) is a programme designed to empower young people from marginalised communities. It provides financial support, mentorship, and access to educational resources, with the aim of promoting equity and inclusion in educational access.

The scholarship prioritises students who demonstrate academic potential, resilience, and a commitment to community development but face systemic barriers to higher education. Beyond financial support, AMES seeks to cultivate a network of mentors, alumni, and community leaders to guide scholars, enhance their leadership skills, and foster long-term social impact.

What We Offer
